Ubud Bali being The First-class Vacation Destinations – 8 Must Visit Traveler Spot – Come From Russia

Ubud as tourust destination

Ubud is, in many ways, the artistic heart of Bali. Home to one of Bali’s imperial families, this particular traditional country village has imperial palaces and historical sanctuaries. The town is even where a few of the world’s outstanding craftsmans and collectors have explored and worked in. Near the main road are dozens of art studios and galleries, in conjunction with an amazing local crafts market offering antiques, woodcarvings, crafts, textiles, artworks, and jewelry. A brief trip outside Ubud will get you to Tegenungan Waterfall, Ubud Monkey Forest, and the photogenic Tegallalang rice terrace. Participate in a day trip to local villages like Campuhan, Penestanan, Peliatan, and Batuan, where you can discover locals making and selling traditional Balinese crafts.

Ubud is one of those places where a holiday of a several days can easily become a stay of weeks, months or perhaps years. The size of the town’s expat community vouches for this, and so do the various novels and movies that have been established here, creative responses to the irresisteble nature of this most cultured of all Balinese towns. This is a place where traditional Balinese culture suffuses every waking time, where colorful offerings dress up the streets and where the charismatic strains of gamelan are an ever-present soundtrack to regular life. It’s also somewhere that is often on-trend– a display of environmentally friendly concept, mindfulness, culinary inventiveness and the very best that worldwide tourism has to offer. Come here for leisure, for revitalization and to have what may well be the most marvelous holiday of your life.

8 recommended excursion activities you can go for today

1. Kecak Dance performance

Ubud is well-known for its traditional dance performances. We didn’t have very high assumptions but loved the Kecak dance we saw at the temple in Junjungan village.
About 60 sarong-clad men give the soundtrack of spooking songs, while dancers engage in a tale from the Ramayana. It is less busy and business than the performances in the centre– all 150 families in the village are included and proceeds go towards temple activities.

2. Practice Yoga exercise

Ubud is yogi wonderland! Regardless if you prefer hectic vinyasa or soft yin, you’ll get a course to fit you. It’s the perfect place to make your own yoga retreat by buying an inexpensive multi-class pass.

3. Downhill Bike Trek

We don’t cycle often, still, the Bali Eco Cycling activity was effortless– it was all downhill and we hardly had to pedal! We began with breakfast overlooking the volcano Mt Batur before cycling through the country side stopping at a family compound, rice fields, and a 500-year-.

4. Monkey forest

The Monkey Forest is among the top Ubud interests, but we were a little nervous about facing the notable monkeys. It ended up a pleasant exercise the forest with temples and banyan trees that felt like an Indiana Jones set.

Aware of the monkeys, though– they are thieves and can be aggressive. We didn’t take a bag, sunglasses, or have something in our wallets (except cash to get in and my camera around my neck), and they didn’t bother us.

Don’t offer them food — you will turn out with monkeys climbing all over you. This may sound cool, but rabies prevails in Bali, and if you get bitten or damaged (a common occurrence), you’ll need a series of injections.

5. Pura Gunung Kawi

This 11th-century temple features shrines created into the rock at the end of a river valley. It’s a 30-minute drive from Ubud and deserves combining with Tirta Empul. Get there quickly to avoid the groups and souvenir sellers– at 8 am there were only 2 other visitors.

6. Tirta EmpuWater Temple

The water temple Tirta Empul is close to Gunung Kawi. Balinese Hindus go here to bathe in the holy waters.

7. Tegenungan Falls

The waterfall isn’t massive, but the scenery is attractive, and we liked a swim in the pool. Once again, get there early.

It’s a 25-minute travel from Ubud and can be combined with the Hidden Canyon. We didn’t make it down the canyon as it turned out to be more serious than we anticipated– come equipped to climb rocks and wade through waist-high water. It’s best to get one of the local guides to present you the way.

8. Visit an Art Gallery.

Ubud is a really artsy village. You can see lots of small shops to purchase the artwork or bigger art museums to discover the background of art in Ubud. I delighted in the Balinese art at Neka Art Museum the most, despite the fact that the architecture at the Antonio Blanco Museum was definitely strange.

Actually, there are hundreds of more activities that you can discover when you are in Ubud Bali.
